We work closely with the Tees Valley Combined Authority to identify events and activities that will allow pupils to gain a better understanding of the world of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you or your colleagues would like to support us with this important work, please contact us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Technical and Further Education Act 2017<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Under this act we are required to ensure there is an opportunity for a range of education and training providers to access pupils during the relevant phase of their education for the purpose of informing them about approved technical education qualifications or apprenticeships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please see our <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.risecarrcollege.org.uk\/policies\/\">Provider Access policy<\/a> <\/strong>which sets out our arrangements for managing the access of providers to pupils, for the purposes of giving them information about the provider\u2019s education or training offer. This complies with the school\u2019s legal obligations under Section 42B of the Education Act 1997.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.risecarrcollege.org.uk\/policies\/\">Safeguarding policy<\/a><\/strong> recognises that all adults, including temporary staff, volunteers and governors, have a full and active part to play in protecting our pupils from harm, and that the child\u2019s welfare is our paramount concern. All visitors taking part in careers related activities must produce a copy of their enhanced DBS and photo id on arrival in school.
