Clifton House Staff: Nichola – Teacher in Charge Kim - Teaching Assistant Carl - Teaching Assistant Clifton House Curriculum Overview: Pupils are referred to Clifton House by their mainstream school. The placement lasts for 12 weeks and the pupils spend half a day at Clifton House and the other half back in their host school. The idea is that children will return to school fulltime following the 12 weeks. Clifton House focuses, fundamentally, on the social and emotional aspects of a child’s learning and development. The curriculum offered is bespoke to each child and their individual needs, however the predominant subjects covered at Clifton House are Maths, English, Art, Cooking, and PHSE. Students are also given the opportunity to access ICT by visiting ‘The Box’ on a Friday afternoon.
